About Us

Welcome to Il Bosco, meaning “the forest” or “the woods.” Chef Joseph Hermann aims to share his passion for Italian food, wine, and creativity.

With seasonal menus of fresh, delicious ingredients and a vast selection of hand-selected Italian wines, we aim to transport you and your guests to Italy through the flavors you’ll experience in our intimate dining room. Our menus change with the seasons, so each visit brings new flavors and dishes to discover.

We are located in Historic Downtown Davidson, walking distance from Davidson College and the Davidson Village Inn. We strive to provide a unique and intimate dining experience for all of our guests, and seating is limited, so reservations are recommended. Join us in our dining room, or visit our garden patio.
